Next Film Night is Thursday 5th November
We are excited to announce the launch of a monthly Film Night at the Claygate Centre. Open to everyone, the plan is to cover a wide range of styles and genres. The evening will include a brief presentation covering the history of each film and an opportunity to discuss it as a group afterwards, this is a great way to revisit classic movies and meet people in a relaxed environment. Drinks and snacks will be available.
Following our first successful film night on October 15th where we showed Alfred Hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt to a packed house, we will be staying in the 1940s for November with the thriller Out Of The Past (aka Build My Gallows High). This is a first-rate thriller directed by Jacques Tourneur which stars Robert Mitchum, Kirk Douglas and Jane Greer. The adventure begins on Thursday November 5th, starting at 7pm.
