Exciting New Chapter at the Claygate Centre!

We are delighted to announce that the Claygate Community Centre having been taken over by local charity The Claygate Community Alliance in the summer of 2026 has now fully reopened, combining the existing services you rely on along with new activities and classes. 

Why not visit the Village Cafe - Open from 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 1.30pm on Saturday. As well as a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks, it's a great chance to take a look at the changes happening at the centre and meet with the volunteers.

We are excited to announce our monthly film night, starting on Thursday 15th October - click here for more information. 

Now is the perfect time to join us. We want every Claygate resident to become an official member! Membership is just £24.00 per year and gives you access to many of the Centre activities, as well as discounted meals and refreshments. 

Fitness & Wellness: Detailed plans for our new Fitness Studio are finalised and building work will start soon - watch this space for further updates. Plus of course we already offer a range of  weekly classes including Zumba etc.

Volunteers! 
Join a Growing Team: We are incredibly grateful to the more than 50 volunteers working at the centre! They’re already doing everything from welcoming guests to serving refreshments and keeping everything running smoothly. However, we still need more and if you have some time to spare, we would love to hear from you - email us at volunteer@claygatecentre.org

Membership costs £24 a year and every penny of that goes towards improving the centre and providing the critical services we deliver to the community. Join online below or drop into the centre and we can manually process your membership application in person.
